Cancellation + Payment

Pricing & Payment

  • All prices are quoted in Australian dollars and are inclusive of GST (unless otherwise stated).
  • Hotel bookings are not confirmed until payment is received.
  • All accommodation payments received (credit card payments, EFT and cheque) are passed on directly to Hotels at 90 days, 60 days and 30 days intervals.
  • Prices and credit card fees are correct at time of publishing and are subject to change in accordance with supplier and/or financial institution agreements.

Cancellation – Hotel Accommodation

  • Cancellations will only be accepted in writing.
  • As an alternative to cancellation, your booking may be transferred to another person without incurring any penalty subject to hotel approval.
  • Cancellations made more than 30 days prior to the delegate’s accommodation stay dates will be refunded in line with the hotel’s cancellation policy less a $10.00 fee to cover cancellation processing administration.

Each hotel has its own cancellation policy as displayed below – it is a condition of booking that you read and understand the hotel’s cancellation policy before finalising your online booking.

Air on Broadbeach
Cancellations prior to 30 days receive a full refund less a $50 handeling fee. Cancellations between 0 & 30 days of stay attract a 100% accommodation fee. 

Aria Apartments
Cancellation received 30 days prior to arrival will receive a full refund less a $40.00 handling fee. Cancellations between 0 & 30 days of stay attract a 100% accommodation fee.

Avani Broadbeach
Cancellations between 0 & 30 days of stay attract a 100% accommodation fee. 

Crowne Plaza
Cancellations within 30 – 15 days one night accommodation will be charged. No refund is given for rooms cancelled within 14 days of stay.

Freshwater Point Resort 
Cancellations outside 22 days prior to travel, attracts a full refund less $50 booking fee. If cancelled within 21 days  100% cancellation fee applies.

Mantra Broadbeach on the Park 
Cancellations 30 – 15 days prior to arrival receive a refund less one night accommodation for bookings of up to 3 nights. Two nights will be charged for bookings over 4 nights. No refund is given within 14 days of stay.

Mantra Sierra Grand 
Cancellations 30 – 15 days prior to arrival receive a refund less one night accommodation for bookings of up to 3 nights. Two nights will be charged for bookings over 4 nights. No refund is given within 14 days of stay.

Meriton Serviced Apartments
Cancellations/ amendments or reductions between 0 & 30 days of stay attract a 100% accommodation fee.

Peppers Broadbeach
Cancellations 30 – 15 days prior to arrival receive a refund less one night accommodation for bookings of up to 3 nights. Two nights will be charged for bookings over 4 nights. No refund is given within 14 days of stay.

Phoenician Resort Broadbeach
Cancellations from 30 – 15 days prior to arrival incur $200 fee or the total booking value if it is less than $200. No refund are given for cancellations within 14 days of stay.

Qube
Cancellations between 30 – 15 days prior  incur a fee equal to one night accommodation. Cancellations made within 14 days incur 100% cancellation fee.

Sofitel Gold Coast
Cancellations between 15 & 30 days of stay attract a 50% fee. No refund is given for rooms cancelled within 14 days of stay – incurring 100% cancellation fee.

South Pacific Plaza
Cancellations outside 30 days prior to stay, attracts a full refund less $50 fee. Cancellations between 15 & 30 days attracts a $200 fee. If cancelled within 14 days 100% cancellation fee applies.

Synergy
Cancellations between 30 – 15 days prior  incur a fee equal to one night accommodation. Cancellations made within 14 days incur 100% cancellation fee.

The Star Gold Coast
Cancellations between 0 & 30 days of stay attract a 100% cancellation fee – no refund is given for rooms cancelled or reduction in room nights.

Refunds

If you are eligible for a refund according to the cancellation policies, Pulse Events will endeavour to process delegates accommodation booking refunds within 14 days after the event. The 14 day time frame is subject to hotels refunding Pulse Events the delegate’s refund in a timely manner and the payment has cleared through the Pulse Events banking system. Pulse Events will not be held responsible for a hotel’s delay in processing a refund that is due back to a delegate. To the best of our ability, every effort will be made to ensure hotel’s are efficient in processing refunds for delegate accommodation bookings.

 

Credit Card Fees

  • Prior to 30 days, payments made via the booking form to Pulse Events will be charged the following credit card fees: AMEX: 1.95%, Visa & Mastercard: 1.87%.
  • For bookings made 0-30 days the following rates will apply (as they are charged directly by the hotel):
