Pricing & Payment

  • All prices are quoted in Australian dollars and are inclusive of GST (unless otherwise stated).
  • Hotel bookings are not confirmed until payment is received.
  • All accommodation payments received (credit card payments, EFT and cheque) are passed on directly to Hotels at 90 days, 60 days and 30 days intervals prior to each conference.
  • Prices and credit card fees are correct at time of publishing and are subject to change in accordance with supplier and/or financial institution agreements.

Cancellation – Hotel Accommodation

  • Cancellations will only be accepted in writing.
  • As an alternative to cancellation, your booking may be transferred to another person without incurring any penalty subject to hotel approval.
  • Cancellations made more than 30 days prior to the delegate’s accommodation stay dates will be refunded in line with the hotel’s cancellation policy less a $10.00 fee to cover cancellation processing administration.

Refunds

  • If you are eligible for a refund according to the below cancellation policies, Pulse Events will endeavour to process delegates accommodation booking refunds within 14 days after the event. The 14 day time frame is subject to hotels refunding Pulse Events the delegate’s refund in a timely manner and the payment has cleared through the Pulse Events banking system. Pulse Events will not be held responsible for a hotel’s delay in processing a refund that is due back to a delegate. To the best of our ability, every effort will be made to ensure hotel’s are efficient in processing refunds for delegate accommodation bookings.

Hotel Cancellation Policies
Each hotel has its own cancellation policy as displayed below – it is a condition of booking that you read and understand the hotel’s cancellation policy before finalising your online booking.

The Star Gold Coast- Deposits & Cancellation policy:
Full pre-payment required when booking. Cancellations between 0 & 30 days of stay attract a 100 cancellation fee – no refund is given for rooms cancelled or reduction in room nights.

Sofitel Gold Coast – Deposits & Cancellation policy:
Full pre-payment required when booking. Cancellations between 15 & 30 days of stay attract a 50% accommodation fee. No refund is given for rooms cancelled within 14 days of stay – incurring 100% cancellation fee.

Crowne Plaza- Deposits & Cancellation policy:
Full pre-payment required. Cancellations within 30- 15 days one night accommodation will be charged. No refund is given for rooms cancelled within 14 days of stay – incurring 100% cancellation fee.

Aria Apartments- Deposit & Cancellation policy:
Full pre-payment required. Cancellation policy is 30 days notice for a full refund (less a $40.00 handling fee). No refund is given for rooms cancelled between 0 and 30 days of stay – incurring a 100% cancellation fee. No refund for early departure.

Air on Broadbeach – Deposit & Cancellation policy:
Full pre-payment required. Cancellation policy is 30 days notice for a full refund (less a $50.00 handling fee). No refund is given for rooms cancelled between 0 and 30 days of stay – incurring a 100% cancellation fee. No refund for early departure.

Avani Broadbeach – Deposit & Cancellation policy:
Full pre-payment required. Cancellations or amendments made within 30 days incur 100% cancellation fee.

Mantra Broadbeach on the Park – Deposit & Cancellation policy:
Full pre-payment required. Cancellations within 30- 15 days one night accommodation will be charged. No refund is given for rooms cancelled within 14 days of stay – incurring 100% cancellation fee.

Mantra Sierra Grand – Deposit & Cancellation policy:
Full pre-payment required. Cancellations within 30- 15 days one night accommodation will be charged. No refund is given for rooms cancelled within 14 days of stay – incurring 100% cancellation fee.

Peppers Broadbeach – Deposit & Cancellation policy:
Full pre-payment required. Cancellations within 30- 15 days one night accommodation will be charged. No refund is given for rooms cancelled within 14 days of stay – incurring 100% cancellation fee.

Victoria Square Apartments – Deposit & Cancellation policy:
Full pre-payment required. 28 days notice must be given of cancellation for a full refund of deposit (less a $30.00 handling fee). If 28 days notice is not given, your payment will not be refunded.

Meriton Serviced Apartments – Deposit & Cancellation policy:
Full pre-payment required. Cancellations or amendments made within 30 days incur 100% cancellation fee.

Freshwater Point Resort – Deposit & Cancellation policy:
Full pre-payment required. Cancellations outside 22 days prior to travel, attracts a full refund less $50 booking fee. If cancelled within 21 days full cancellation fee applies.

South Pacific Plaza – Deposit & Cancellation policy:
Full pre-payment required. Cancellations outside 30 days prior to travel, attracts a full refund less $50 booking fee. Cancellations between 15 & 30 days attracts a $200 cancellation fee. If cancelled within 14 days 100% cancellation fee applies.

Phoenician Resort Broadbeach – Deposit & Cancellation policy:
Full pre-payment required. Cancellations within 30-15 days $200 will be charged. No refund is given for rooms cancelled within 14 days of stay – incurring 100% cancellation fee.

Credit Card Fees

  • A standard 1.85% will be charged to all credit card bookings (Visa, MasterCard, AMEX) until 30 days prior by Pulse Events.
  • For bookings made 0-30 days the following rates will apply (as they are charged directly by the hotel):
